Hello

About Me
INTERN

Skylar is a conservation scientist with a passion for the ocean and all the life within it. They are driven by my passion for conserving our planet's incredible biodiversity and my dream of making long-lasting positive impacts in the world around them. After graduating with a B.S. in Environmental Science from Franklin University Switzerland in 2024, they moved to Bonaire, where they became a PADI Divemaster. In 2025, they began their journey at Colorado State University, joining the 15th Cohort of the Master's of Conservation Leadership program.

Skylar's work has taken them all over the world, from marine biology coursework in the Red Sea, to working for an NGO in Madagascar, to studying Participatory Guarantee Systems in Cambodia. They are grateful to have lived and worked on four continents and visited 40 countries. When Skylar is not traveling the world, you can find them on their family farm, spending time with their animals and tending to their native plant garden on the Front Range of Colorado.
