Courtney works as a Behavior Analyst at Walt Disney World where she supports training, enrichment, and behavior change programs for animals at Animal Kingdom, the Seas at Epcot, and the Animal Kingdom Lodge. She is passionate about translating scientific principles of behavior change for practical application and using behavior analytic practices to improve animal and caregiver welfare.
After hearing about the magic of Stars to Sea, she finally got to participate for the first time last summer. She loved it so much, she’s ecstatic to be able to return as a trip leader for Stars to Sea this coming summer.
When not working, Courtney loves reality tv, caring for her vast plant collection, and hugging her pets, often including foster dogs.
Education: Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Simmons University
