Percy is a Ph.D. candidate in atmospheric science at the University of California, Berkeley. Before beginning her Ph.D., she completed an M.Eng. in Environmental Engineering at MIT and worked at an environmental consulting firm, conducting data analysis and numerical simulations of the transport of pollutants in waterways. She received her B.A. from Stanford University, with a major in Cultural and Social Anthropology and a minor in Biological Sciences. Percy has expertise in climate science and hydrology. Her technical skills include analysis and visualization of large space-time data sets, numerical modeling of environmental systems (including atmospheric and aquatic flows and water resource systems), high performance computing, and machine learning. She also has experience with satellite datasets and regional weather/climate models.
